                   ----------------------------------

                       Using the modem in MS-DOS.
                       --------------------------

Note: This section does not apply when running MS-DOS in a
    MS-DOS window from within MS-Windows.

When using the modem in MS-DOS (without MS-Windows), you can
set the COM PORT and IRQ to any setting you desire.

However, when setting your APPLICATION software, (e.g.
Procomm for DOS, Qmodem for DOS..) you must set the IRQ in
the softare to one of the following choices based on your
    COM PORT:

    COM1 , choose IRQ 4
    COM2 , choose IRQ 3
    COM3 , choose IRQ 4
    COM4 , choose IRQ 3

For exmple, say you set your modem to COM 3, IRQ 5 with the
OLEDOS setup utility. Set the jumpers accordingly, to COM3,
IRQ 5. HOWEVER, set your DOS application to IRQ 4.
