SiS IDE Driver Un-Installation For Windows NT 3.5x ================================================== 1. From the Options menu in "Windows NT Setup", choose "^Add/Remove SCSI Adapters. 2. Select the "^SiS PCI MASTER IDE Miniport Driver" adapter. 3. Select "^Remove" 4. Setup will show a message box explaining how removing this driver may prevent Windows NT from starting correctly. Select "^OK". 5. Install the default ATAPI CD-ROM driver at this time by clicking the "^Add" button. The default driver may be listed in the "^Select SCSI Adapter Option" dialog box as "^IDE CD-ROM (Atapi 1.2) / Dual-Channel PCI IDE". 6. In the "^Select SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box, click on the "^Install" button in the dialog box. 7. In the "^Windows NT Setup" dialog box, click on the "^New" button in the dialog box. 8. Installation is successful if the "^SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box reappear, and "^IDE CD-ROM {ATAPI 1.2}/ Dual-channel PCI IDE" will be listed as installed driver. 9. Reboot the system in order for the changes to take effect.
