Introduction:
=============
  This document shows you how to setup the driver and how to use the 
  enhanced functions by setting the custom keywords.

  Location of Driver:     \WINME\DRN16CT.SYS

Contents of the Subdirectory:
=============================
    DRN16CT.SYS          The NDIS5 driver for Windows ME.
    NETDRN16.INF          The installation information file.


Installation:
=============
  Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
  is properly installed and configured.

   1.If Windows ME has built the driver for D-Link DRN-16CT, when you plug
     the D-Link DRN-16CT in the mother board and power on the Windows ME, 
     the Window ME will install the driver of D-Link DRN-16CT automatically.

     You will see there is an item:
     
        "CNet 200/600/650E+ SERIES Ethernet Adapter (Legacy Mode)"

     in the 'Network adapters' list in the Device Manager.

     The Device Manager can be invoked by choosing Start\Control Panel
     \System \Device Manager (button)

   2.Invoke the Device Manager. Right click the item

         "CNet 200/600/650E+ SERIES Ethernet Adapter (Legacy Mode)"

     in the 'Network adapters' list, and choose Properties.
     There will prompt the 'CNet 200/600/650E+ SERIES Ethernet Adapter 
     (Legacy Mode)' Properties window.

   3.Click the 'Driver' tag, and choose the 'Update Driver' button.
     There wll prompt a 'Update Device Driver Wizard' window.
     The Wizard will ask you
     What would you like to do?
     Please choose
       'Specify the location of the driver[Advanced]'
     Click 'Next'.  
   
   4.The Window ME will now searchfor updated drivers in this database and 
     in any of the following location. 
     Please choose 
       'Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location , so you 
        can select the driver you want.' 
     Click 'Next'.

   5.Click 'Have Disk'.
     In 'Select Device' window, type the following path in the combo list:

            A:\WINME

     Click 'OK'.

   6.There will show

            "D-Link DRN-16CT Ethernet ISA Bus Adapter"

     in the 'Models:' field.
     Click 'OK'.
   
   7.There will show

            "D-Link DRN-16CT Ethernet ISA Bus Adapter"

     in 'Update Device Driver Wizard' window.
     Click 'Next'.

   8.There will show a 'Copying Files...' window.
     The file 'DRN16CT.SYS' was not found.
     Specify the driver files in the 'Copy files from' path 
       
       A:\WINME
     
     Click 'OK'.   
  
   9.Windows ME will copy the driver and system files for the network.
 
  10.Click 'Finish'
     Finish the 'Update Device Driver Wizard', and the updated driver will
     work for D-Link DRN-16CT.

  11.Restart your pc ,You will see

        "D-Link DRN-16CT Ethernet ISA Bus Adapter"

     in the 'Network adapters' list.
