LAN Manager Workstation/Server

   Introduction:
   -------------
   This document describes the procedure to setup Microsoft LAN Manager
   Workstation/Server driver for D-Link DRN-16CT Ethernet ISA Bus Adapter.

   Location of Driver: \MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\DRN16CT\DRN16.DOS


   Sample Configuration Files:

      CONFIG.SYS :

      PROTOCOL.INI (will contain):

         [DRN16_NIF]

           AdapterID  = @006067000047 ;  This item is only required when
                                      ;  more than one DRN16CT adapters
                                      ;  exist on one system.

   Setup Procedures:
   -----------------
      Before you start with the installation process, make sure that the
      adapter  is properly  installed and  configured.  Make  sure  your
      Microsoft LAN Manager is properly installed.

      1. Run the appropriate Microsoft Lan Manager SETUP for computer you
         are setting up. Select "Configuration" item ,select the
         <Other Driver> item (the D-Link DRN-16CT isn't included on the
         LAN Manager disk) and insert the D-Link DRN-16CT driver diskette, 
         specify the drive name of the driver disk (don't specify the path 
         name), and follow the directions.

      2. When completed, reboot your computer .


   NOTES:
   ------

      1. Parameters for the PROTOCOL.INI file:

         DRIVERNAME: This is the one required parameter. See example at top
                     of this document for syntax.

         AdapterID : This  keyword is provided  by D-Link DRN-16CT, and is  
                     required when  more  than  one  D-Link DRN-16CT  
                     adapters exist on one system. You must modify the 
                     AdapterID value in file, \LANMAN\PROTOCOL.INI, by 
                     yourself.

      2. Sample PROTOCOL.INI for LAN Manager:

      3. The AdapterID is the Ethernet Address of the DRN16CT Ethernet card.
         You can find the value by running SETUP.EXE -- the View Current
         Configuration\Ethernet Address item in DOS environment.
