  Function:

    1. W940ND.386 is a NDIS 3.x driver for Windows for Workgroup 3.11.

       If there exists only one RP-1651W card, the driver will automatically
       get IOBASE and IRQ from PCI Configuration Space.

       If there exists more than one RP-1651W cards, user can indicate a
       specified RP-1651W card by inputing IDs.

       If user does not input IDs to select some specified RP-1651W card,
       this driver will automatically select some RP-1651W card to load.

    2. OEMSETUP.INF is a Network Setup Information File for Windows for
       Workgroup 3.11 Platform.


  Installation:

    1. load W940ND.386 and OEMSETUP.INF files into local hard disk,
    2. run WFW 3.11 by typing WIN from DOS prompt,
    3. click the 'Network' Icon in the Main Program Group,
    4. click the 'Network Setup' Icon from the Network Window,
    5. click the 'Drivers' Button from the 'Network Setup' Dialog Box,
    6. click the 'Add Adapters' Button from the 'Option' Dialog Box,
    7. select 'Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter' item when the install
       driver field appears,
    8. type the path name that contains W940ND.386 and OEMSETUP.INF files,
    9. press <enter> to start the installation processes,
    10.press <enter> when 'RP-1651W PCI Ethernet Adapter' Dialog Box
       appears,
    11.if want to enable early interrupt function, you can click the 'Setup'
       Button from the 'RP-1651W PCI Ethernet Adapter' Dialog Box,
         select the 'Early Interrupt Function' item,
         select 'disable' or 'enable' item,
         click the 'Set' Button after finishing,
    12.if exist more than one RP-1651W cards in your system, you can select
       some specified RP-1651W card by inputing Ethernet IDs,
         click the 'Setup' Button from the 'RP-1651W PCI Ethernet Adapter'
         Dialog Box,
         select the 'Selected adapter's ID[if multi-RP1651W used]' item,
         keyin Ethernet IDs,
         click the 'Setup' Button after finishing,
    13.follow the screen instructions to complete the installation processes,
    14.restart your computer.


  Usage:

    1. run WFW 3.11 by typing WIN from DOS prompt,
    2. if want to change the setting of early interrupt function of this
       driver, please reference step 3 to step 14 in the Installation section.


  Trouble Shooting:

    1. Message: 'Your network adapter RP$1651W is not working properly.
                 You may need to set it up again. For more information, see
                 'Troubleshooting' in your 'Workgroup Add-On User's Guide'
                 The following error occurred while loading protocol number 0.
                 Error 58: The network has responded incorrectly. You may need
                           to reconfiguration the protocol using Network Setup.
                 If your computer is a portable, make sure it is connected to
                 its docking sation.'
       Solution: Make sure that your RP-1651W card is plugged into your system.

    2. Condition: The Windows for Workgroup 3.11 can not boot normally.
       Solution : Make sure that your RP-1651W PCI card is connected to the
                  cable.
