Windows NT 4.0 Introduction: ------------- This document describes the procedure to install Windows NT v4.0 driver for D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. Location of NT 4.0 Driver : \WINNT40\DLKRTGB.SYS Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows NT : ----------------------------------------------------- When you are in Windows NT : 1. In the Main group of NT, select the "Control Panel" icon. 2. In the Control Panel window, choose the "Network" icon. 3. In the Network Settings dialog box, choose the "Add..." button in the "Adapters" page. The Select Network Adapter dialog box appears. 4. Press the "Have Disk..." button to install driver. 5. Insert the DGE-528T driver disk, enter drive and pathname, Ex: D:\, which is the path where the setup file OEMSETUP.INF is located, and then choose the "OK" button. 6. The screen will appear "Select OEM Option" dialog, and choose the "OK" button. 7. The screen will appear "Speed/Duplex Mode" dialog box which is provide by DLKRTGB.SYS driver. The default value is "Auto" so that the D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter and its driver DLKRTGB.SYS will auto-detect the speed/duplex, while the DLKRTGB.SYS is loading. The other values, "10 Half Duplex", "10 Full Duplex", "100 Half Duplex", "100 Full Duplex" or "1000 Full Duplex", are only used when you want to forced D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter to 10Mb Half, 10Mb Full, 100Mb Half, 100Mb Full or 1000Mb Full. 8. The screen will appear "Input Network Address" dialog box which is provide by DLKRTGB.SYS driver. This option is only required when you have more than one D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter on this computer. Select "Skip" if only one adapter is installed on this computer. 9. The "Input Tx Early Threshold" display in next screen. Press "OK" button to continue installation. 10. You can choose the "Properties..." button to modify all parameter above. 11. Press the "Close" button, the NT will then perform the binding process. If any additional network software options were installed, you may be prompted for specific information for these packages. 12. Restarting your system you will acquire network service.
