³ INTRODUCTION ³

The installation of Windows NT is menu driven through the Windows NT interface.
The driver and installation files are located in the root of this driver disk
if you install NDIS4 driver and NDIS3 directory if you install NDIS3 driver.
Recommended for Windows Nt4.0 to use NDIS4 driver. Windows NT 3.5x use NDIS3
driver.
The guidelines assumed you have installed Microsoft Windows NT4.0 and is
installing network support using Compex FL100TX/10Base PCI Fast Ethernet
adapter (21143) Rev G1,G2,F8,F9,and F10.

This OEMSETUP.INF file support Windows NT4.0 unattended. Refer for Windows NT
manual for more infomation on how to install NT in unatteneded mode.
Unattended installation is intended for saving time when installation many
PCs only.

This driver disk supports also the following Compex LAN adapters.

 Windows NT4.0  NDIS4 Driver Installation Procedure
 ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ

1. Click start in NT4.0 
2. Select control panel from setting and double click network.
3. Click Adapters in Network window; click Add from Adapters menu;
   click "Have Disk" in Select Network Adapter window.
4. Insert the Compex FreedomLINE 100TX/10Base PCI driver disk and
   enter the path A:\ then click OK.
5. The Select OEM Option will show as:
   Choose a software supported by this hardware manufacture's disk

      [Compex FreedomLINE 100TX/10Base (21143) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter]

   Click OK.
6. Click Close of Network window.
7. Do You want to restart your computer now? Click yes.
8. After PC reboots, FL100TX PCI LAN adapter will be ready to service
   the network.
9. Remember to create proper workgroup and share directories.
                                            

 Windows NT4.0  NDIS3 Driver Installation Procedure
 ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ

1. Click start in NT4.0

           @ 10BaseT NO_LINK_TEST       Select the 10BaseT medium with no
                                        link integrity test. Choose this
                                        option if the adapter is connected
                                        to a hub which does not generate
                                        link pulses to check the link
                                        integrity.
